Join the Green Business Network at our first workshop of 2018 where you'll learn how to improve your own commuter benefits program. Commuter benefit programs are employer provided benefits that allow employees to reduce their monthly commuting expenses for public transit, biking, vanpooling, carpooling and parking. The panel of speakers will be discussing ways that you can improve or create a commuter benefits program.
Deborah Jones is the Program Manager for iCommute's Employer Program at SANDAG working with employers throughout San Diego County in developing commuter benefits programs that focus on flexible and green commuter choices. She uses her multifaceted business perspective coupled with well-honed environmental outreach and marketing skills help educate San Diego employers about the benefits of commute alternatives.
Dustin Fuller is the Supervising Environmental Planner at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. He will discuss the Fairground's Transportation Demand Management strategies including transit discounts, bike parking, shuttles, preferred carpool parking and employee educational presentations.
Cami Tran is a Marketing & Events Specialist that supports SANDAG's Bike to Work Day. She will highlight upcoming events associated with Bike to Work Day and ways that you can encourage your employees to participate in the nationwide event.
We highly recommend inviting colleagues from your organization that work on commuter benefits including Human Resources, Finance or Marketing staff.
