This session will uncover a process for evaluating existing building systems and energy trends, identifying low and no-cost strategies, and developing a plan for achieving integrated energy goals: increased efficiency, demand response, and considering renewable energy options.
It will also provide framework for prioritizing energy efficiency and demand response strategies for maximizing energy conservation, and considering solar energy, energy storage, and other new technology.
Topics covered will include:
- Understand the holistic relationship between reduced energy waste, increased energy efficiency, demand response, and renewable energy
- Apply these skills towards energy planning on projects
- Understand rebates and financing programs available to fund efficiency strategies
This class is eligible for continuing education units from the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI).
